Spencers Beach - Day 2

Sorry, about the long delay. It just takes so much time sometimes to update the blog that it's hard to find the time to sit down and do it. I'll try to be better.

So I need to finish with the pictures from the second day of our camping trip to Spencer's Beach. When we got up in the morning, we fixed breakfast and then got the kids ready for the Primary Easter Activity that the Stake Primary Presidency was putting on. They divided the kids up into two groups and some did crafts and got their face painted while the others did games and then they switched. They kept the kids busy for about 2 hours and they had so much fun. After that, we just hung out playing at the beach all day. Some friends from the ward showed up who hadn't camped and we played a lot with them. They have kids around the same age as ours and they had so much fun together. Their oldest daughter, Maka, started playing with Aidan and they were so cute. He adored her and she was so sweet with him. Matt spent a bunch of time throwing the football out to kids in the water. We had a wonderful time and I am excited to go camping there again.

The kids had sponges that they would get wet in the bucket and then go squeeze into the soda bottle. It was race to see who could get more. I think Abby won :-)

In this game, they would run down to the water, scoop up water in a spoon and then try to carry it back without spilling and dump it in a bucket. The team with the most water won. Aidan was so cute trying to keep the water in his spoon.

This game was basically just seeing how long you could jumprope for.
This game was like pin the tail on the donkey but it was pin the tail on the Easter Bunny.
They played volleyball with water balloons and a blanket. They all loved this one!

Abby and Sabrina had butterflies

Jackson with his "oh so cool" dragon. He refused to get in the water the rest of the day for fear of it washing off. He just built sand castles and dug pits the rest of the day. We found it really amusing.
Aidan and his starfish
The girls showing off their butterflies and the fun visors they made

Matt playing catch with a bunch of kids

Sabrina and her friend, Kapae
