Walking buddies

Aidan and I go walking several times a week. Usually it's just down the hill we live on and back up (it's quite the workout pushing a stroller with a toddler in it up a steep hill in hot, humid weather) but usually once a week we go down to Liliuokalani Gardens down on the bay. We walk around this beautiful Japanese style garden and then we go to Jamba Juice afterward and split a smoothie. We'll sit on a bench outside the Jamba place and chat. It's really fun. We are getting to be such buddies.

He is such a little punkin. How fun to have that alone time with him, and in such a lovely place. Too bad he won't remember this time much -- but you will. So sweet to have a little man be your buddy. Tim used to be like that when he was a little feller...sigh. Now he towers over me. Cherish this time.

Jeanne everything looks beautiful. I love your posts. It's interesting to see all of the unique things about Hilo. It took me a good two years to finally feel okay here in Beijing. Even though there were perks! It's always hard to leave a place you're used to, especially when you have some serious roots there! That's totally ironic about your friend moving to Orem.
