Volcano Park

We went down to Volcano again while Mom and Dad were here. This time we drove down to the coast where the lava has cut off the road in it's descent into the ocean. We climbed out on the lava and you could see in the distance the plume of smoke from where the lava continues to flow into the ocean. One of these days we'll go just before sunset and watch the lava flow into the ocean. It's supposed to be pretty amazing to see the glow of the lava. It was so strange to walk down this road and suddenly it ends in a field of lava.
